As per the local resource availability and the market demand,  lots of entreprise can be promoted in rural and urban area. Being as a business development support program organization of MEDEP and cottage and small industry office Government of Nepal, Deurali Society has operated such program around 8 years. It is really an output based program that one can handle small business. It is also a poverty reduction program focussing on poor people. There is a cycle of beginning to the final stage of this program. The resource as well as market demand survey is held in the beginning. Then participatory well being ranking is held to indentify the poorest of the poor family. Household level survey is done to find out the details of his/her family. Then deta is analyzed if he/she falls under poverty level or not as per the property he/she posses. The entreprise development training is held for those who found under the level of poverty. During this training, the business concept is developed and the possible entreprise is also prioritized assessing ones context, resource and opportunities, market demand etc.

The technical input training is held to begin the identified entreprise which is short term, mid term and long term (short term means 7-15 days, mid term means 16-45 days, long term means 46-90 days). After this training, the trainee needs technology to support along with financial input. When these are made available, then production comes to the market which shall be managed. All these steps are facilitated for the possible entrepreneurs. Once the facilitation is done and in the next years, the scale up program for these entrepreneurs also incorporated. Beside the entrepreneurs are from poor household, still follow up program is felt needed.

Deurali Society has a long experience to operate this program. This program contributes self employment of youths and reduce go for the foreign employment. From the last year (2020), Deurali Society has not gotten any fund, so it became discontinue on our hand. We need to mobilize and capacite human resource of different level and different numbers that depends upon the volume of program. The financial support to Deurali Society will be utilized as given below.

1. Human resource mobilization and capacity building along with management of the program.
2. Lodgistic support for group management and entrepreneurship development training for the possible entrepreneurs.
3. Material purchase, trainer cost and lodgistic support for the technical skill training for the short term, mid term and long term for production, processing and packaging etc.
4. Technology support to start up business which may be machines, tools and technical input as well as community facility centre support.
5. Linkage with financial institutions e.g.interaction, visit, MOU, query on proceedings.
6. Management of marketting e.g. market visit, interaction with traders and suppliers, dialogue with outlets and market centres, lebeling, branding and licencing of productions, participate in exibition etc.
7. Monitoring and review is also necessary for each program.
8. Business development counselling to the entrepreneurs is being provided as needed.
9. Scale up program which is normally held in the next year to next 5 years which will be technical input, technology support and so on that depends on the ongoing business or sickness of business.
